Soundside Electrical

Terms of Service

Effective Date: April 9, 2026

Agreement to Terms

By engaging Soundside Electrical LLC ("Company," "we," "us") for any electrical service, you ("Client," "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms govern all work performed by Soundside Electrical LLC, including but not limited to residential and light commercial electrical services in the Coastal North Carolina region.

Scope of Services

Soundside Electrical LLC provides licensed electrical contracting services including panel upgrades, service upgrades, kitchen and bath remodel wiring, lighting installation, whole-home wiring, generator connections, ceiling fan installation, electrical troubleshooting, commercial tenant buildout wiring, commercial lighting and controls, and code compliance inspections. All work is performed under North Carolina Electrical Contractor License #36691.

Estimates & Pricing

All estimates provided are based on the information available at the time of assessment. Final pricing may vary if the actual scope of work differs from the original estimate due to unforeseen conditions, code requirements, or client-requested changes.

Written estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to adjust pricing for material cost fluctuations beyond our control.

Scheduling & Access

The Client agrees to provide reasonable access to the work site during scheduled service windows. If the Client is unavailable or the site is inaccessible at the scheduled time, a trip charge may apply.

We make every effort to maintain scheduled appointments. However, emergency calls, weather events, or unforeseen complications may occasionally require rescheduling. We will notify you as soon as possible in such cases.

Client Responsibilities

The Client is responsible for ensuring the work area is reasonably accessible and safe for our technicians. This includes clearing obstructions from electrical panels, attic spaces, crawl spaces, and other areas where work is to be performed. The Client must also disclose any known hazards, including but not limited to asbestos, mold, structural damage, or pest infestations.

Permits & Inspections

Where required by local jurisdiction, Soundside Electrical LLC will obtain necessary electrical permits and schedule inspections. Permit fees are the responsibility of the Client unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We ensure all work meets or exceeds the current North Carolina Electrical Code and the National Electrical Code (NEC).

Limitation of Liability

Soundside Electrical LLC's liability is limited to the cost of the services performed. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services, including but not limited to loss of income, property damage beyond the scope of our work, or damages resulting from pre-existing conditions.

Our liability does not extend to damage caused by the Client's equipment, appliances, or pre-existing wiring conditions not included in the scope of work.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution through direct communication first. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be submitted to mediation in Brunswick County, North Carolina, before pursuing any legal action. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.

Modifications

Soundside Electrical LLC reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
